Enterprise Network & IT Infrastructure Design

Assess and plan enterprise networks, branch connectivity and server-room infrastructure with controlled implementation and operational documentation.

Infrastructure design starts with operational requirements rather than an equipment list. Identify the services the organization depends on, where users connect, where data is held and which changes or outages can be accommodated. These requirements guide the scope of Liyan’s network and infrastructure services.

Scope of service

Environment and dependencies

Review branches, users, server rooms, equipment and existing communication paths. A service inventory and a responsible owner for each area help explain how a network change could affect everyday operations.

Network and branch connectivity

Assess network structure and equipment against the operating environment. Access separation, management paths and communication requirements between systems belong in the design; implementation choices depend on the actual environment.

Controlled implementation

Agree on change stages, maintenance windows and rollback steps before implementation. The final network map and operating documentation help teams track and maintain subsequent changes.

Delivery process

1. Assess the environment

Collect equipment and service information, known failure points and growth requirements. Coordinate review access with the organization’s owner within the agreed boundaries.

2. Agree on design and rollout

Define priorities, dependencies and implementation order. For a sensitive service, the change plan should address possible availability impact and the path back to the previous state.

3. Verify and hand over

Check connectivity and access against agreed scenarios. Make the delivery documentation and maintenance responsibilities explicit at handover.

Before the first discussion

Prepare a branch and critical-service inventory, an existing diagram if available, equipment details and permitted maintenance windows. Capacity and availability requirements should reflect actual workloads. Any specific service commitment must be defined after reviewing the environment and agreeing on scope.

Common questions

Does a network improvement require replacing all equipment?

That depends on current condition, capacity needs and maintainability. The initial review should consider how existing equipment can be used and where its limitations matter.

How is the network maintained after implementation?

Monitoring, preventive work, incident handling and coverage hours need a defined support scope. Project implementation does not itself imply ongoing support.
