Enterprise Systems Monitoring, Maintenance & Support

Define monitoring and support for enterprise software and infrastructure, including service ownership, incident priorities, preventive maintenance and reporting.

Useful support begins with clear responsibilities. Define which services are covered, how incidents are reported, who may authorize changes and when an issue is escalated to another team. Liyan’s monitoring and support services are scoped around the organization’s requirements and approved access boundaries.

Scope of service

Service inventory and coverage

Document the software, infrastructure and dependencies included in the agreement. Clarify the responsibilities of internal teams, vendors and support staff so an incident has an accountable owner.

Monitoring and incident handling

Review the metrics and alerts relevant to the agreed services. Prioritize incidents according to their operational impact and provide a usable path for reporting, follow-up and escalation.

Maintenance and action records

Plan periodic work, approved changes and preventive tasks. Recording an action and its outcome helps identify recurring failures and gradual performance degradation.

Delivery process

1. Review the current setup

Review systems, documentation, approved access paths and related agreements. Exchange sensitive information and administrative access only through an organization-approved process.

2. Define the working model

Agree on coverage hours, request channels, priorities and escalation ownership. A response-time or service-level commitment applies only when explicitly agreed.

3. Follow up and improve

Use incident history and maintenance records to prioritize preventive work. New features or architectural changes, where needed, should have a separate scope that can be estimated and reviewed.

Before the first discussion

Prepare a service inventory, recurring issues, working hours, responsible teams and current documentation. If monitoring or ticketing tools are already in use, coordinate how they will be used. This page does not itself commit to round-the-clock coverage or a fixed resolution time; service details are defined in the agreement.

Common questions

Does monitoring and support mean 24/7 coverage?

Coverage hours, contact channels and response times must be defined in the service agreement. Each engagement is scoped according to operational needs and available arrangements.

Are new features included in maintenance?

Bug fixes, maintenance and new feature development do not form an unlimited scope. Define their boundaries and the process for estimating new requests at the start.
